Whatcha gonna do when they come for you…
T he epic movie has reached trilogy status with the announcement of its third and epic installment. Starring Martin Lawrence & Will Smith the duo made the announcement on Will’s famous IG account (mostly known for laughs and stunts), that the Bad Boys 3 movie was just confirmed to begin shooting in 2019. With Bad Boys originally being released in 1995 and its blockbuster sequel following in 2003, the action-packed cop movie amounted to $622.1 million worldwide directed by Michael Bay.
In 2017 there were a number of rumors about the upcoming decision as well as a number of questions if the original director Michael Bay would be on board for the epic and final recording of the original cast. Variety reported back in October 1st, 2018 that Will had signed on to reprise his role in the threequel as Detective Mike Lowrey, but Lawrence hadn’t yet agreed terms but remained pending. That changed on October 31st as Lawrence confirmed that the he was officially on board the threequel and after all these years according to details with Variety.
With two new directors on board, a budget reportedly set at over $100 million and a proposed 2020 release date, it seems as if this pair’s wild actions are finally making their way back onto our screens.
