Nikki got some ammo she’s hiding in the cut, the single ‘Pink Lemonade’ release made it’s way to shelves a day or two ago but with some surprise features on the production side. Produced by the legends, K-Salaam & Beatnick, the mixi-single “Pink Kush Remix,” features some Reggae riffs and a verse from reggae artist, Jesse Royal (available HERE). As to the original single serving up with the hint of Reggae blend, some might refer to it as ‘Tropical’ made it’s visual debut today. The retro visuals, take Nikki for a ride around town and ends with her in the laundry-mat. A filter was definitely easy on the eyes making it a must watch video as we await a followup project from her ‘People & Planes’ release last month.
Known for her work with Lupe Fiasco & Madonna, Nikki is more than ready for a solo run, preferably an EP release to bring in Spring 2019? I was just guessing she’d release a project in the Spring because who wants to listen to ‘Tropical’ music in the winter right? Check out the visual release below.
I still believe Nikki has much more music we need to hear, while she creates a lane for herself as a solo project.
