From the Maquereau to the Pensee shoe..

A new exhibit is scheduled to be released featuring the fashion house of Christian Louboutin. Diving into the universe of the most famous shoemaker the exhibit will explore the discovery between the interest and inspiration of Louboutin in aspects of his universe fed with travels, pop culture, dance, literature and cinema.

Opening his first boutique in Paris 20-years ago coupled with his inspiration he became the world’s most famous shoe maker in the past couple of years due to the his distinguishable  and high priced red-bottoms shoes. According to various post, never before shoes will be placed on display for the Louboutin fanatics and shoe stans. According to Town And Country, 15,000 shoes and boots are in the possession of the shoe and among them will be pieces from his personal collection, some of which have never been seen before.

While the as-now-untitled exhibition will be on view from February 25 to July 28, 2020 at the Palais de la Porte Dorée. Olivier Gabet, the director of Paris’s Museum of Decorative Arts, is curating the show I am hoping the collection makes its way across the ocean to New York where we can all catch a glimpse of what classics and treasures are hidden with Louboutin.
