Trinity Rodman is the 19-year-old pro-soccer player who became the highest-paid player in the National Women’s Soccer League.

If the name looked familiar, it is because it is. She is the daughter of the retired NBA forward Dennis Rodman. The Washington Spirit is ranked 10th in the league and inked the forward to a four-year contract extension worth $1.1 million, per Yahoo Sports. Rodman is guaranteed to be with the organization through the 2024-2025 season, with a player option for the following year.

A little-known fact in January 2021, at 18 years old, Rodman became the youngest player ever drafted in NWSL history. Within the same year of signing, Rodman led the Washington Spirit to the NWSL Championships. The Spirit claimed the 2021 league title with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory in extra-time over the Chicago Red Stars with 10,360 fans in the stands. The budding superstar has already been honored as the youngest player to turn pro and rookie of the year.

Trinity Rodman and the Washington Spirits are scheduled for four games this beginning;

vs NY/NJ Gotham – Sept 17th
vs Angel City – Sept 21st
vs KS Current – Sept 25th
vs Houston Dash – Sept Oct 1st
