With the release of 1TakeJay latest ‘Proud Of You,’ there’s this one line that got his timeline laughing out loud.
Known more for his unorthodox rap style, the up and comer from L.A . has found music to share his sense of humor. It is also a big reason he voices the importance of versatility in Hop-Hop. As promised more visuals made its way as he debuts his latest single titled, ‘Proud Of You.’ Directed by Carrington, the music video features 1TakeJay performing alongside the iconic Tommy The Clown’s TSquad dance crew. The colorful and high-energetic visuals display a larger than life, charismatic lyrics catching many off guard. I would only assume this is from personal experience as a punchline utters ‘Momma shut the f**k Up.’ Followed up by a continuous slew of braggadocious rhymes I think it’s safe to say 1TakeJay is just being humorous.
With bars like that 1TakeJay provides a shock value but a homours clarity into his own world. ‘Girls Over All Things‘ aka G.O.A.T is his latest release as of 2019. The G.O.A.T compilation much like his other works has been self-described as intentionally controversial as a budding artist from the West Coast.
