Leading a path to her debut album, Shenseea’s ‘Run Run’ music video is a tribute to the classic dancehall fans.
In an interview with Shenseea in 2020 with Violator DJs, the songstress expressed excitement towards the release of her debut project, scheduled for February 2021. Other than a late album as expected, the Dancehall princess releases Run Run ahead of the pending compilation. Directed by Christian Breslauer, the music single pays homage to the Cleevie and Steelie’s drumkit, which ultimately formed the foundation of Dancehall throughout the world. Better known as the Rumours Riddim, Shenseea gives the track a deserving nod to the pioneers of the culture.
While she has not given a name or release date, Shenyeng fans are guessing that the album will be a mix of pop and dancehall with some deserving hip-hop collaborations.
“Run Run” is the first song to be released from the artiste’s upcoming debut album, available up top and streaming on all platforms below.
