With the running success of the ‘Black-ish’ TV series, Netflix signs up creator Kenya Barris for the ‘#BlackAF’ new series on its service.

The Black-ish creator Kenya Barris has a new role. He is starring in his own comedy series coming to Netflix. The series scheduled for April 17th is about life as a successful black artist in Hollywood. Barris enlists himself as a fictionalized version of well, himself. His TV wife and co-star on the #BlackAF show is Rashida Jones. The trailer seems to serve as a brash comedic value picking up where I believe ‘Black-ish’ lacks. Unlike the Black-ish TV series, it grants more creative freedom space where Barris fits into perfectly. The series is off to a strong start.
Check out the trailer above that previews the coming characters.
