Originally recorded in December 1974 the song was released on his studio album Natty Dread.  Later on, the song has been sampled numerous times making it one of Bob Marley’s most popular songs of all time.  For the first time though, the song ‘No Woman, No Cry’ has received the official music video treatment.  Released on ‘International Reggae Day’ the song marks an iconic visual release on July 1st.

Focusing on family and country, the music video shares life on the small island amongst family and friends.  Marley chose Kristian Mercado Figueroa to lead the direction of Bob Marley’s first official music video since his passing.  The music video also happens to be the first visual from the upcoming re-release of the ‘Legend’ compilation by the Marley estate.  The project is scheduled to be released on all platforms on July 24th.
