There is a leading message that foretells how revolutions often end. Ladonnis opens the music video with a personal message of putting an end to violence:
—– A message from LaDonnis:
I am a Black man and a U.S Veteran who has worked with officers and as an officer myself. This song and visual were created to put a spotlight on the cycle of violence against Black lives in America and not to recreate or perpetuate the cycle of violence. Let your voice be heard, get out, and vote.
I love you. Thank you.
Yet the visual reminds us of how many revolutions we made and ended. It would be a good idea to watch it to the end.
