LaDonnis latest ‘Smackdown’ transforms Back Lives in America into a visual masterpiece theatre.

The veteran has been outspoken about tackling police brutality in America. Leading his controversial list of topics Ladonnis pens the current single Smackdown. The debut of “Smackdown’ appears as a follow-up to his leading single ‘Black Boy.’ Debut over 4-months ago, the song has accumulated over 200K views on Youtube. Ladonnis narrates the single with the help of his co-director Andy Hines. The characters do an astounding portrayal of using dance to interpret his point of view. There is a leading message that foretells how revolutions often end. Ladonnis opens the music video with a personal message of putting an end to violence:

—– A message from LaDonnis:
I am a Black man and a U.S Veteran who has worked with officers and as an officer myself. This song and visual were created to put a spotlight on the cycle of violence against Black lives in America and not to recreate or perpetuate the cycle of violence. Let your voice be heard, get out, and vote.
I love you. Thank you.
– LaDonnis

Yet the visual reminds us of how many revolutions we made and ended. It would be a good idea to watch it to the end.
