August was quite a surprise but being such a big month for the entertainment industry it forces us to drive by the month of September also a low key back to school month for many without barely promoting projects publicly.
On the heels of Hobbs & Shaw, The Kitchen and Angry Birds 2, the early fall launches are less abrasive and thrilling. The entries for the month come from Netflix and Hulu video streaming services. Utilizing their platform to unmask some of the biggest influences within the industry. The Netflix streaming service will share a release of their 3rd season Hip-Hop Evolution, starring RUN-DMC, Ice T & Biggie among others, while their competitors debut ‘Wu-Tang – An American Saga’ series.
The bonus and real treat for viewers and fans all over the globe comes in from Travis Scott with a documentary ‘Look Mom I Can Fly’ via Netflix at the end of the summer. The release gives his die hard fans, a front row seat of Scott’s life leading up to the release of his Grammy-nominated album Astroworld and the success of the tour.
