Before this week’s docu-series release of ‘The Last Dance’ eBay deploys an online curated store dedicated to everything MJ.
eBay announced the release of a curation dedicated to the NBA icon. The ‘The Last Dance’ star Michael Jordan will be featured on ESPN and Netflix docu-series scheduled for an April 19th release. The docu-series was designed around Jordan’s last moments with the Chicago Bulls. While eBay’s curation was designed for Jordan’s biggest fans, eBay.com/MJcollectibles was also designed to celebrate those biggest moments of his NBA career.
The curated hub will host auctions for a variety of authentic memorabilia including a 1988 Chicago Bulls jersey. There is a signed basketball by the hall-of-famer, and an autographed framed 1994-95 Chicago Bulls as part of the auction. Expect to see everything Michael Jordan for the next couple of weeks as eBay curates releases from its auctions.
For sneakerheads, eBay will be curating a number of drops every Friday through May 15th to celebrate the series. Despite pandemic related lay-offs, the one thing that has not been affected in a major way has been the resale market for sneakers. The niche resale market for sneakers has remained intact despite retail loss of 75% in revenue.
