According to Master P, what Allen Iverson’s ‘Answer’ sneaker will be to Reebok, is what Jordan is to Nike.

Master P and the retired NBA player Baron Davis are among the latest prospects looking into buying the Reebok brand from Adidas. The No Limit owner has never been one to shy away from making big statements. Although it will be months before Adidas reveals the purchase details, Master P made a statement about who he believed should be the face of the brand.

“The way we look at Michael Jordan for Nike, we look at Allen Iverson that way in Reebok,” Master P told reporters in his interview with Yahoo Finance Live. “We need to bring him to the forefront. We need to bring in better designers. We also need to make this for the millennials. And I think that that would be a game-changer.”

Adidas bought the brand in 2005 while attempting to gain ground on their Nike competitor. 16-years and $3.8 Billion later, Adidas is looking to lighten the load as they have acquired the likes of Yeezy and IVY Park. Reebok, on the other hand, has endorsement deals with Cardi B, Devonta Freeman (NBA), Montrezl Harrell (NBA), TJ Watt (NFL0, JJ Watt (NFL), Allen Iverson (NBA), and The UFC champ Conor McGregor.
