Abel assumes the “party boy” persona in the recent release of ‘After Hours’ with tracks like ‘Heartless’ and ‘Escape from L.A.’  The album is scheduled to hit 400K+ copies during its first week.  The forecast will automatically put The Weeknd back on the top with another #1 album release. The project is listed as The Weeknd’s sixth studio album under the XO imprint.

These projections were released by HitsDailyDouble.  The initial breakdown of the 14-track album ‘After Hours’ predicts there will be 200K units moved from traditional album sales. Versus another 200K coming from streaming platforms. That is 200K x 1,500 streams. If these projections hold true to the predicted forecast After Hours could very well land the biggest debut of 2020 on the pop charts surpassing BTS’ Map of the Soul: 7, which earned 422,000 units in its first week.
