Puma prepares the release of a multi-year Black History Month collaboration apparel with the Black Fives Foundation.
The German brand has announced the partnership between Puma x Black Fives Foundations, making a part of a multi-year partnership. Consequently, the brands will release an apparel collection featuring vintage graphics and logos, using the slogan ‘Make History Now.’ The partnership will raise awareness about this vital history of pioneering players, teams, and contributors, per the press release.
Furthermore, PUMA will support the Foundation’s mission statement, to research, preserve, showcase, teach, and honor the pre-NBA history of African Americans in basketball. In addition to the use of an online museum, artifacts from the Black Fives Era will highlight the work of Black leaders, partners, and community organizations.
With an emphasis on athleisure, Puma has won over fashionistas with endorsements with Big Sean, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Young Thug, J. Cole, and Rae Sremmurd.
