Nike incorporates athletic and casual with just the right amount of ridiculousness, with the hassle-free Go Flyease sneakers.

While 2020 was not the best year for apparel, that does not stop Nike from pushing the envelope on sneaker-tech. They are introducing their first contact-less sneaker in the midst of what seemed to be an opportunity. What makes the Go Flyease a unique release is its core innovation. The so-called bistable hinge allows the sneaker to move into an upright position between the heel and the toe. The bistable hinge sits upright at a 30-degree angle unused. The collapsable hinge effectively gets your feet in and out of the sneaker with ease.

After being reviewed by Fast Company, the Go Flyease was titled “the ultimate COVID footwear.” Nike says the sneaker will be on sale starting February 15th. Despite the release, it is unclear how many units will be made available in the first run, Nike says potential consumers will be able to cop a pair of Go Flyease upon the re-release later this year.

The contactless sneaker will debut for $120.
