The making of…
A few weeks after the Dreamville Label led by J. Cole signed Earthgang and J.I.D, the Dreamville frontman called for all his labelmates to take a deep dive into creativity as they all contributed towards, as we now know the ‘Revenge of the Dreamers III.’ The followup allstar album with the addition of new labels mates cast their focus on creating the latest project set to be released on July 5th, 2019, by Dreamville Records.
J Cole along with various credited creatives released the official documentary chronicling the making of the Revenge of the Dreamers III sessions in January 2019 at Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. In the documentary video we witness the congregation of the Dreamville allstars as well as get some insight through a dictation by J Cole and input from various peers during the recording and listening of the musical project with still an unknown set list.
According to various sites we can slowly piece together possible outcomes from J. Cole, Bas, Cozz, Omen, Lute, Ari Lennox, EarthGang, and J.I.D. in recording sessions for the album in Atlanta while another 100 artists and hip hop producers were invited to the sessions including, Big K.R.I.T., Mike Will Made It, DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, Tay Keith, T.I., Rick Ross, 9th Wonder and Wale, among others.
Revenge of the Dreamers III is set tp be release July 5th 2019.
