2019 kick off movies season
[mks_dropcap style=”rounded” size=”52″ bg_color=”#61d8a9″ txt_color=”#ffffff”]E[/mks_dropcap] very week there is a chance to catch up on new releases, while the year often begins slow catering to a younger demographic who remain enthusiastic about sci-fi and fantasy features on the big screen. The millennial generation although often over look the previous, scouts for movies with messages and sub-context that is great for talking points. Meanwhile epic films and indie release are continuing a dominating share of ads on Youtube & social media with a a re-newed vow to bring not only the spotlight on epic film but to continue a diverse feature of films that we can and should support. Not only for its cast diversity but to continue showing the business that there is talent and messages worth supporting in and out of epic and indie based features.
Thus far this year I’ve seen trailers for epic follow-up films, remakes and some new ideas that is being explored by Hollywood newcomers. The Marvel & DC brand will eventually take over our spring season, but not without producers and directors like Jordan Peele and M. Night Shyamalan among other pre-indie players get their piece of the pie supported by a star-studded talented cast that ultimately will dive the movie.
Predictions and other things I want to see this year in order to support the work, is the introduction of new talent much of what Jordan Peele has been doing, I would love to see that idea of introducing an entirely new cast on an epic film, and more indie support of new directors and actors. We also have to admit that Netflix among other movie streaming companies are a top the movie list for epic films release. Straight to DVD is also still a thing for for the hobbyist and will be noted int hose niche genres like animation and indie films.
