Ferrari’s First #Hybrid Still Has Its Speed To Match

With a combined, combustion engine and motors that produce a max of 985 horsepower, the newly coined SF90 Stradale, by Ferrari has said to achieve an acceleration rate from 0–62 mph in just 2.5 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 211 mph according to the press release by the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer based in Maranello.

Ferrari has announced its first plug-in hybrid, previous announcing the move last year to convert their cars with the goal of creating a 100% electric lux sports car. The introduction of the SF90 Stradale comes with no lack of speed or performance as it continues to boast its V8 turbo engine, which the company claims has the highest output of any 8-cylinder in its history, the car has a total of three electric motors (two on its front axes and one on its rear).

The luxury popstar of a car will also automatically turn off entirely when you reverse the car, meaning the car’s gearbox doesn’t need to include a reverse gear and inbetween running on its V8 engine with a combination of 15 miles of range on the electric engine.

Internally, the car sports a 16-inch curved HD screen behind the steering wheel, controlled entirely using the touchpad and haptic buttons on the steering wheel interacting with — the all-electric eDrive, Hybrid, Performance, and Qualify — which offer a different balance of speed, battery, and fuel consumption.
