‘Dark Knight Rises’ is a musical celebration of Lailaitee’s mental health awareness using AfroFusion as a base for his talent.
Originally released on May 8, the compilation has been slowly receiving some well-deserved recognition with online media. Even though Lailaitee utilizes influences from a multi-cultural family, growing up in the U.K has enabled him to tap into ‘AfroFusion’ to celebrate his latest self-care debut release of the ‘Dark Knight Rises.’ Entirely written and performed by him, the 5-track project serves as a foundation for his budding career.
‘Dark Knight Rises’ attributes good vibes thanks to the production pairing by renowned South African producer Scales (Shekhinah). The creative coupling between Lailaitee and Scales has served up a unique vibe to the forefront. The compilation project completely over-shadows a recent release of ‘On Your Mind‘ single which barely breaks through to listeners. But worth the preview.
What’s most outstanding is the use of various dialects that create and shape the project into a multi-faceted cultural influence. Available on all streaming platforms.
