I can’t help but think the ‘I Spy’ music video by Lila Ike is partly a celebration of the recent label deal by the in.digg.collective.

After the big news over the weekend, Lila Iké releases both vocals and visuals for her new single. The single is her first release under the new partnership deal between In.Digg.Collective and Six Course/RCA. The deal incorporates Protoje and another labelmate. The Manchester, Jamaican native has been putting out visuals for the past year. Her last music video was almost 9-months ago. Titled ‘Where I’m Coming From’ has gathered up some 1.2-million views.
Backed by the synonymous with reggaeton, Lila Ike groovy vocals solicit admiration from a secret admirer. While she’s always maintained a playful fusion of sounds she stays true to the roots of reggae and soul while incorporating R & B and Pop into the mix.
The 2020 release of ‘I Spy’ is available on all streaming platforms. We should also be anticipating more music from the collective. As they are known to be not afraid of experimenting with sounds and variations in an effort to push culture. I believe we will be hearing more sounds and blending of genres as the collective turns into a global community.
