priced at $1.9 milly…

Known for their supercars, Lotus has unveiled another first car. The hypercar is authentic and is fully developed as the automaker’s first all-electric scheduled for production. Dubbed the Evija this electric ‘hypercar’ implies that it will be able to go side by side with some of the fastest cars in the world when production begins in 2020.

In true hypercar fashion, only 130 limited editions will be produced, and they will each start at $1.86 million if you can find that type of change to spare. Boosting that the car is all-electric is one thing but the specs prove that the beast is ready for the challenge. The hypercar packs a 1,972-horsepower punch thanks to four electric motors, one dedicated to each wheel. It will have a top speed of over 200 miles per hour and can go from 0 to 60 miles per in under 3 seconds taking only up to 18 mins to fully charge according to the verge, Lotus says a full charge will take just nine minutes.

Whether the Evija ultimately claims any of these titles is almost beside the point. It will undoubtedly be a very fast car.
