An impressive 7-track listing from the Harlem native. Melii is not shy about holding her own alongside a single feature from the Dancehall artiste, Gyptian on the Motions EP From Melii.
Just before the weekend, the Harlem native delivered her seven-track EP Motions. The discovery of the release definitely has the potential to catch a new listener off guard. Not only possessing a lyrical talent for the project, putting aside the bravado. Bar for bar she has proved that her delivery can not be messed with alongside New York strongest.
Not only did she include the previously released singles “TM Interlude,” “No Hard Feelings,” and “Nena” into the compilation project, but also debut a surprise feature from the legendary ‘Hold You’ Jamaican artist Gyptian. The potential single, which I’m hoping for puts the singer/rapper in position for “Sad Girl Winter’ approaching us.
The Motions EP from Melii comes with a head start as she ventures as a featured guest artist on Summer Walker’s ‘The First and Last Tour’ this year.
