Rihanna’s ‘Clara Lionel Foundation’ is front and center of the spotlight as it faces another year amazing year for Rihanna, hosting the “Diamond Ball” charity event in New York. The event which began in Beverly Hills, California, in 2014 only to return to New York (no mention if the Ball is returning to its most known location in Cipriani Wall Street) for the third year in a row. Rihanna’s 2019 event will be held on September 12th where previous attendees included A$AP Rocky, Issa Rae and Donald Glover, who also performed for guest in attendance.
Funds raised by the charity ‘Ball’ event will support the Clara Lionel Foundation, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding impoverished communities globally, and one that keeps the multi-Grammy award winner hands-on with community based projects as seen in her past.
On Instagram, Rihanna wrote, “We’re coming back to NY for the #DIAMONDBALL to benefit #CLF !! Follow @claralionelfdn for ways to donate, and the announcement of our host and performers coming soon.” No word yet on the 2019 attendees or theme of this year’s event which will take over downtown manhattan for a good cause.
Rihanna brought in the new with an IG post alerting her 71M followers that she’ll be back in NYC for the Fall. No mention of new music, but we’ll be here when it happens.
