5-Time Grammy Winner is now a Hall Of Famer!

As reported earlier this year, the rapper/entertainer/songwriter and multi-award winner who has been and is now probably the most decorated female hip-hop artist in the industry was highlighted over the weekend as she became the first female Hip-Hop artist to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame.

The 50th annual Songwriters Hall of Fame 2019 induction ceremony, took place on Thursday night where the entertainer who have stuck to her recipe of dance records alongside VA native & super music producer Timbaland made history as well as championed Hip-Hop from within the industry on behalf of women.  There are many more stories and documentaries that will be needed to be told as they give our pioneers their ‘flowers’ while they are with us.

Missy shared her joy during the induction speech in a tearful but accomplished feeling, Missy shared a clip of encouragement during the speech via Twitter that celebrated songwriters as well as highlighting the creative mountains that must be moved in order to achieve any success.
