In 2019, FILA revealed a look that the street fashion stans gravitated towards heavily. Especially women and teens sticking to a budget. While the iconic brand has done it once before with athletic gear. Can they do it again? It was only a matter of time before the sneaker brand that was once a sponsor of the pro-basketball FILA Grant Hill 2, decide to re-launch the throwback sneaker.
Back in November 2018, A FILA Grant Hill 2 with a facelift was gifted for the now-retired player at their ComplexCon show. There’s no other way in describing the FILA Grant Hill 2 sneaker as one of those classic joints that had a unique silhouette that is still maintained to date. FILA is doing a comeback, and they are bringing the classics with them. Resurrecting the basketball Hall of Famer, Grant Hill’s second signature shoe; FILA Grant Hill 2, I predict is just the beginning as they are slowly and strategically filling in the gaps as a fashion accessory.
Currently, a host of NBA TV’s NBA Inside Stuff, Grant Hill with getting the opportunity to possibly work with FILA once again on the releases and promotions of The Grant Hill 2 released this week.
