Tory Lanes is just one of the artists tapping into New York’s latest craze. Ever since the release of ‘Big Drip’ from Fivio Foreign.  The horizon of rap music has changed yet again. An uptempo ‘Drill’ record popularized by ‘Axl Beats’ the original producer for ‘Big Drip’ which has already logged 15 million views on Youtube for the music video feature.

Drill music in its entirety is no stranger to the streets of Brownsville, Brooklyn. A movement that began some five years ago, and popularized by Kooda B. The ‘K Lo K’ record comes after a statement Tory made pointing that rap/trap music was in a bad place because of its redundancy. Which is what happens when artists and entertainers copy one another. Last year Tory featured some solid outputs on his much-anticipated Chixtape 5.
