Exactly after two years since the release of ‘The Rage’ Kid Cudi re-emerges with another single. The single has been marinating for at least 8-years on his laptop. Not before getting a preview over the weekend. Also in a video ‘Cudi live in Geneseo’ he can be seen reciting the lyrics to the now released song. It is his first release from a rumored project scheduled sometime this year. Produced by his longtime friend and collaborator, Dot Da Genius.
Entergalactic has been said to be Cudi’s next compilation project. It has also been tied in with a visual release on the streaming platform Netflix. The song is currently available on major streams, while the project lacks details, except for its name and animation video. I would expect other fans to be like me and maintain a love/hate relationship with Cudi’s music and his timing of releases. While we anticipate the release of Entergalactic, many fans struggle with his untimely releases. As do I do.
Entergalactic is an Adult Animation based on Kid Cudi’s upcoming concept album of the same name. This adult animated anthology follows a young man on his journey to discover love. The animation video is scheduled to premiere on Netflix streaming service. The animated series executive produced by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris says that each song off the album will get a 30-min special episode.
