New collaborations take off as Planes reset their destination to apparel with New Orleans collaboration with native, Supreme Street.
The ‘Planes’ crew from the Roc Nation camp is all coming together to celebrate the release of a collaboration with the New Orleans native. Hats, tees and sweatsuits are supposedly all part of the release. While the pins are not yet known if the limited edition pin pieces designed by Supreme Street himself are part of the Planes crew but that also is on the verge of a big release plan. The apparel release comes with a unique print utilizing the magnificence of the Magnolia flower.
Louisiana by legislative action, approved July 12, 1900, designated the Magnolia foetida or Magnolia grandiflora as the State flower (according to Netstate). While the white magnolias flower meanings include purity and perfection according to various other colors could mean beauty and nobility.
The releases do not yet have a date but there is a slow but steady hype building towards the brand release with the NOLA native, Supreme Street.
