Reebok teases the Black & White release of the ‘Question’ mid signature sneaker in a short animated film ‘Why Not Us?’ narrated by Allen Iverson.

Almost a decade has past but the influence Allen Iverson has over the NBA is undeniable. In November 2013, the 76ers announced that they would officially retire Iverson’s number 3 in a special halftime ceremony on March 1, 2014. He remains one of the most iconic players under the Reebok line.

A.I. joins Reebok as a narrator in the short film ‘Why Not Us?’. The name comes to us as it was uttered as a question 20-years ago when A.I. dropped 15-points during an All-Star game against an opposing team that towered above him.

The video details the journey of young athletes who don’t listen to the critics. These athletes believe they can’t compete but instead fight and use their passion to succeed. A reference used in the story used to highlight A.I.’s being 6-foot tall but being drafted nonetheless to the NBA. However, whatever he may have lacked, he made up for in passion and drive on the court.

Aside from the short film by Reebok, A.I. will also join the brand as it releases the Black and White color of his signature sneaker ‘Question’ Mids.
