The Utah Jazz point guard revealed that his ‘DON Issue 2’ sneaker with Adidas will make its debut this summer.
With all signs point to a summer debut, athletes lead merch releases this year. The NBA for one known for heading sneaker releases to the rest of the world ingeniously uses its digital teases. After NBA2k teased a mint color signature sneaker on the point guard, Donovan Mitchell confirms the potential release. Taking to social media yesterday, the Utah Jazz star revealed that the signature line with Adidas will be moving forward with an August drop date.
The mid-cut silhouette appears to be made of mesh while the heel counter is made of rigid material. Mitchell’s signature spider logo is located on the back while the entire sneaker appears to be mint green/neon. The signature line is the second release from Donovan under the Adidas and Utah brand.

Last month, the native New Yorker, tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Since then under strict quarantine guides by the NBA and medical staff DM has been recovering and seems well as he appeared in the video tweeted above by NBA2K handle account.
