Lead designer and fashion activist Kerby Jean Raymond has been preparing a social-distancing event to celebrate the NYFW.

Known for his groundbreaking runway shows, Kerby Jean Raymond is planning a Drive-in nationwide event.  The drive-in theatre event will be part of the social distancing discussion being had in various industries.  While details of the NYFW events are still unknown, news of the Pyer Moss event is already creating hype.  The conversation about social distancing post-coronavirus is evidently lead by Kerby Jean Raymond.  Known for his cultural anesthetics, Jean Raymond will be sharing a unique drive-in experience of  ‘American Also.’   The film is set to debut in September but not coincide with the Pyer Moss’s upcoming release.

In a statement, Jean-Raymond made to FN;

“It’s always been our mission to show the amount of thinking and laboring that goes behind putting together a collection — we’ve been slowing down the speed of how much we produce and improving the quality of what we produce throughout the years,” said Jean-Raymond in a statement released to FN.  “This film aims to show the love and care our entire company puts into every single moment we create and will show that we appreciate fashion as an art form and communication tool that we’ve used to embolden a community around us.”

According to the statement, the concept will be a first of its kind that involves the social-distancing. Ultimately setting the bar for brands looking to follow with creative ways of maintaining safer ways henceforth.  Last year Pyer Moss debut their collection at the King’s Theatre in Brooklyn New York.
