Former host and Grammy winner, LL Cool J explain that Kanye West’s actions were personally offense and disrespectful to many.
Uncle L ain’t never been one for disrespect. The Hollis Queens native appeared on a recent episode of the Desus & Mero on Showtime. He held no punches when talking about his Grammy mate, Kanye West’s latest series of stunts. Ye published a recent post of him urinating on one of his 21 Grammy Awards in the toilet. LL Cool J, a multi-Grammy award winner, and host expressed the disrespect that he felt and his views on what a Grammy represented to his personal career.
“With all due respect, I think Kanye should just — maybe he should just piss in a Yeezy or something instead of pissing on a Grammy. Piss in a pair of one them Yeezys, B. I felt some kind of way about that s–t. I didn’t love that s–t, because I’ve been with the Grammys for five years.”
The post in question happened last month during one of Kanye West’s many Twitter rants. In a failed negotiation between Kanye and his label Def Jam Music Group over his master recordings.
