EV concepts are after my heart, but SONY is after the EV market with the move from concept to reality with the Vision-S car.

According to InsideHook, the SONY ‘Vision-S’ electric car will begin testing this year. Making its debut in Jan 2020 at CES, the EV car is moving its silhouette from a concept car into a public arena. If successful Sony would be one of the biggest technology companies to have introduced an EV first car. Apple and Dyson was recently reported to have attempted and given up at the task while Google is still hanging there.  As it turns out building an EV car from scratch is more than they had expected.

Considering our interest in EV auto, Tesla has set specific standards that can be comparable to consumers’ wants and needs. Jaguar, Volvo, and Porsche have also launched EV vehicles of their own as an introduction concept to the auto market.  Google on the other hand has stabilized a stronghold located on most dashboard. Leading Google Maps and OK Google tech into each concept model.

Despite the possibility of failure, Sony stands to get a few things out of the concept before calling it quits.  To further develop tech for inside and outside of EV cars as well as considering the relationship specifically between your mobile device and your car. In the end, win or fail there is a lot to gain from the process in developing the Vision-S price-point publicly ready.
