On February 21st Benny took to Twitter to announce there is a potential music collaboration in the making.  One of his first official releases between himself and the Toronto native, Drake. Since the announcement fans have not heard anything after the airing of the tweet.  It is a big promise to fill one I know will come through, but with fans on both sides of the border patiently waiting for what can be the biggest record of the year.  A record that can position Benny as well as a record that launches Drake into beast mode.

The interest working with Drake stems from a December 2019 interview with Rap Radar.  Drake shared positive remarks for the Buffalo, up & comer.  Drake said “I think what they’re doing is great.” he said. “It just reminds me of a different time and it’s not easy to do. To make that music and just come off wavy and be interesting.”  Gov name ‘Jeremie Pennick’, took to IG after he was named checked by Drake on the interview with captions ‘Let’s Go’.  Indicating that he was also interested in sharing the talent on record. Drake replied to the invitation with his own “Yo, I’m down,”.  Unfortunately, almost three weeks later after the proclamation, there is still no record.

Recently Been sat with Kyle Santillian of WGCI’s Morning Show, to discuss the come up from talks Making It Out of Buffalo to signing to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation above.

While there is no right moment to drop a record these days, I’m sure this one will get a teaser and within 24 hours we’ll have a full release. It’s already Spring Benny ‘Let’s Go’
